Why Bangor chooses us

Six reasons people come back.

Same-day, while you wait

99% of phone, tablet and console repairs are finished the same day — most while you wait, typically 30–60 minutes for a screen or battery. No three-day wait.

12-month guarantee

Every repair is backed for a full year, parts and labour. If the fault returns within 12 months, we fix it again free. Standard on every repair, not an upsell.

No fix, no fee

Free diagnostic on every device. If we cannot repair it, you pay nothing — no call-out charge, no diagnostic fee, no handling fee. Even on complex jobs.

Fixed in-shop

Every device is repaired in our Bangor workshop by our own technicians. Nothing is sent to a hub. Watch the repair if you like, and ask exactly what we found.

Frequently asked questions

Where are you based?

We are at 124 High Street, Bangor, Gwynedd, LL57 1NT — on the main pedestrian High Street, approximately 400 metres from Bangor railway station. Walk-ins welcome any time during opening hours.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk in any time. For most repairs we fix your device while you wait — no booking required.

How long do repairs take?

Screen and battery repairs are typically 30–60 minutes while you wait. Charging port, camera and speaker repairs are usually same-day. Water damage and board-level repairs take longer — we give you an honest estimate when we see the device.

What if you cannot fix my device?

You pay nothing. Our no fix, no fee policy applies to every device. If we cannot repair it, you collect it in whatever state it came in and owe us nothing — no diagnostic charge, no handling fee.

Do you use genuine parts?

We use quality parts that match the original specification. For iPhones that means screens that preserve True Tone, Face ID and original brightness. We do not use cheap aftermarket parts — it would cost us too much in returns and guarantee claims, and it is not fair to our customers.

Can I send my device by post?

Yes. Pack it securely in a padded box with a note including your name, contact number and description of the fault, and send it to our Bangor address. We call or message you with a quote, carry out the repair on your approval and post it back the same day we finish.

What are your opening hours?

Monday 9am–7pm. Tuesday to Saturday 9am–6pm. Sunday 9am–5pm. Open every day of the year except Christmas Day.

How much does a repair cost?

iPhone screens from £40, Samsung screens from £50, iPad screens from £80, laptop screens from £60, PS5 HDMI from £80, Joy-Con drift from £40 per stick. Use our instant quote tool for an exact price on your specific device and fault.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

In most cases, yes — significantly. A cracked iPhone 15 screen costs around £120 to repair; a new iPhone 15 costs £600. A PS5 HDMI repair at £80 against a new PS5 at £449. We will always give you an honest view — if repair is genuinely not worth it, we will say so.

Do you fix devices other shops have said are unrepairable?

Sometimes. We work on board-level faults, microsoldering and water-damaged devices that some shops decline. Bring it in for a free diagnostic — we tell you honestly what is possible.

Bring it in today.

No appointment. Free diagnostic. 12-month guarantee on everything we fix.
